Quotas and Limits

Allowances and constraints for platform-hosted storage, plus general connector limits and the costs that may apply.

Platform-hosted storage

Data for both the file connector and the table connector lives in platform-hosted storage, and the two share one allowance. The constraints in this section apply only to those two connector types. Connectors such as OSS, databases, and Yuque keep their data in the source system and do not consume this allowance.

Storage allowance

ItemAllowance
Number of filesUp to 200,000
Storage capacity1 TB
BillingFree for a limited time
Storage location currently offers only platform storage. If you exceed the allowance or need a larger scale, submit a ticket to request an increase.

Maximum counts

ItemMaximumDescription
Number of categories500 per workspaceYou can submit a ticket to request an increase
Number of tags on a single file100
Batch file query20 per requestThe per-request limit when querying files in bulk by file ID

Tag lengths

ItemConstraint
A single tagNo more than 32 characters
Total length of all tagsNo more than 700 characters
Character set for tags: Chinese characters, uppercase and lowercase English letters, digits, underscores, and hyphens are supported.

Time limits

ItemLimit
File viewing windowOnly files imported within the last 90 days can be viewed. Older files are no longer displayed, but they are not deleted
Session file retentionFiles whose categoryType is SESSION_FILE are retained for up to 7 days

Format limits

ItemDescription
Direct import not supportedJSON, CSV, and YAML. Convert them to XLSX or XLS first

General field lengths

FieldConstraint
Connector nameUp to 64 characters in the console

Capability boundaries

The following capabilities are not available at this time. Keep them in mind while planning:
ItemDescription
Deleting a connectorYou can only delete a connector from its card in the console
Deleting a data collectionThe platform does not currently support deleting data collections. When you need to isolate data, create a new collection and migrate the files
Changing the connector typeThis cannot be changed after creation. You can only create a new connector
Changing the data connection associated with a knowledge baseOnce a knowledge base is created, its data source is read-only. To switch sources, re-create the knowledge base
The one-click migration entry point for legacy data connections is available until September 30, 2026. For details, see Data Connection Migration.

About costs

Platform-hosted storage in Connector itself is free for a limited time. Beyond that, the following costs may apply:
SourceDescription
OSS outbound traffic feesWhen data is read from OSS, OSS charges according to its own billing rules, calculated separately from your Connector usage. This cost becomes noticeable when the same bucket is read frequently
Document parsing and model callsWhen you use an LLM-based parser or call a model in an agent application, charges follow the billing rules of the corresponding model
If your data volume is growing quickly, submit a ticket to request an increase early rather than waiting for writes to fail.
